solo engineer 没有 background check，我自己就是 trust

Background check：背景调查。Security clearance：安全许可。KYC：know your customer。AML：anti-money laundering。Reference check：reference check。Education verification：学历验证。Criminal record：犯罪记录。Credit check：信用记录。$50-$500 / check。

每 startup / enterprise 1 个 background check + 1 个 KYC + 1 个 AML。$100K-$500K / 年 in compliance。

solo engineer 没有 background check。

我自己就是 trust。

我想做什么就做什么、想 commit 就 commit、想 deploy 就 deploy。我不需要 background check、不需要 security clearance、不需要 KYC、不需要 AML、不需要 reference check。

我没 background check 的必要——没 enterprise customer 要 check。我没 security clearance 的必要——没 secret data 要 access。我没 KYC 的必要——我不收钱。我没 AML 的必要——我没 transaction。我没 reference check 的必要——没 reference。我没 education verification 的必要——没 HR。我没 criminal record check 的必要——没招聘。我没 credit check 的必要——没 loan。我没 $50-$500 / check 的必要——没 check。

团队的 background check 价值是「让 enterprise 信任 + 合规 + 风险管理」。前提是有 enterprise customer、需要 compliance、需要 risk management。solo engineer 没这个问题——没 enterprise customer、不需要 compliance、commit log = trust。

一人工程的 background check = 0。不是 $100K compliance team。
