solo engineer 没有 investor relations，我自己就是 investor

团队有 investor relations。

Investor relations (IR)：管理投资人关系。Cap table：股权分配表。409A：第三方估值。Funding round：seed / Series A / B / C。IR firm：专门做 IR 的公司 $200K / 年。Earnings call：每季度 1 次电话会议。Investor update：每月 1 次 update 邮件。Roadshow：上市前的路演。

每个 startup 有 1-2 个 IR + 1 个 CFO 配合 IR。$500K-$1M / 年。

solo engineer 没有 investor relations。

我自己就是 investor。

我 = 唯一投资人。我自己管 cap table（100% 是我的）。我自己 409A（不需要估值）。我自己 funding round（不融资）。我自己 earnings call（不需要）。我自己 investor update（commit log = update）。我自己 roadshow（不需要）。

我没 IR 的必要——没投资人关系要管。我没 cap table 的必要——100% 是我的。我没 409A 的必要——没 stock 要估值。我没 funding round 的必要——不融资。我没 IR firm 的必要——没 $200K。我没 earnings call 的必要——不是上市公司。我没 investor update 的必要——commit log = update。我没 roadshow 的必要——不上市。

团队的 IR 价值是「维护投资人信心 + 透明披露 + 监管合规」。前提是有投资人、需要披露、需要合规。solo engineer 没这个问题——没投资人、没披露、没合规、commit log = 透明。

一人工程的 IR = commit log。不是 $200K IR firm。
