solo engineer 没有 investor update，我自己 commit

团队有 investor update。

Investor update：给投资人发的 update。Monthly update：每月 1 次。Monthly letter：每月 1 封信。Board update：给 board 发的。Quarterly update：每季度 1 次。Investor relations：管理投资人关系。Update template：template 化的 update。$5K / 月 in IR tools。

每 startup 每月 1-2 次 investor update + 1 个 IR + 1 个 CFO + 1 个 board。

solo engineer 没有 investor update。

我自己 commit。

我 commit log = monthly update。commit message = what I did last month。访问者 RSS = monthly letter。我不需要 monthly letter、不需要 board update、不需要 quarterly update、不需要 IR tools。

团队的 investor update 价值是「让投资人知道进展 + 维持信任 + 准备 follow-on」。前提是有投资人、需要 trust、需要 follow-on。solo engineer 没这个问题——没投资人、不需要 trust、commit log = follow-on。

一人工程的 investor update = commit log + RSS。不是 $5K/月 IR tools。
