solo engineer 没有 legal counsel，我自己就是法

Legal counsel：法律顾问。Lawyer：律师。Contract review：合同审查。NDA：保密协议。Terms of service：服务条款。Privacy policy：隐私政策。Legal team：法务 team。$300-$1K / 小时。

每个 startup 1 个 general counsel + 1 个 outside counsel + 1 个 NDA 模板。$500K-$2M / 年。

solo engineer 没有 legal counsel。

我自己就是法。

我想 commit 什么就 commit 什么、想 open source 就 open source、想 terms 就 terms。我不需要 legal counsel、不需要 lawyer、不需要 contract review、不需要 NDA。

我没 legal counsel 的必要——访问者不签合同。我没 lawyer 的必要——没 lawsuit。我没 contract review 的必要——没 enterprise customer。我没 NDA 的必要——我没 secret data。我没 terms of service 的必要——没 service terms。我没 privacy policy 的必要——没 data 收集。我没 legal team 的必要——我 = legal。我没 $300-$1K / 小时 的必要——没 legal question。我没 $500K-$2M / 年 的必要——没 legal budget。

团队的 legal counsel 价值是「保护 company + 避免 lawsuit + 合规」。前提是有 company、有 risk、需要合规。solo engineer 没这个问题——我没 company、没 lawsuit 风险、commit log = 合规。

一人工程的 legal = 我自己。不是 $500K legal team。
