solo engineer 没有 strategy，我自己写就是 strategy

团队有 strategy。

Strategic planning：每年 1 次 5-year plan。SWOT：strengths / weaknesses / opportunities / threats。Competitive strategy：Porter's 5 forces。BCG matrix：star / cash cow / question mark / dog。5-year plan：CEO + 5 VP + 50 page deck。

每年 1 次 strategy offsite。1 周。

solo engineer 没有 strategy。

我自己写就是 strategy。

我想做什么就写一篇散文 = 我在做 strategy。commit log 是 5-year plan。访问者点开看 = 我的 strategy 是 visible 的。

我没 strategic planning 的必要——没人 review。我没 SWOT 的必要——我自己知道 strengths / weaknesses。我没 Porter's 5 forces 的必要——我没 5 个 forces。我没 BCG matrix 的必要——没 product portfolio。我没 50 page deck 的必要——散文 = deck。

团队的 strategy 价值是「让 board + investor + employee 知道方向」。前提是大公司、需要 alignment、需要 buy-in。solo engineer 没这个问题——我不是 startup、没 board、没 investor、没 employee。

一人工程的 strategy = commit log。不是 50 page deck。
